Farmers markets for Birmingham. There are lots on this site now. It is really worth a browse. Currently it is quite slow finding the markets so wait a few seconds for the list of markets to appear.

Local Food and Drink

Jalaram Food Stores

46 Showell Green Ln, Birmingham B11 4JP, UK – 0121 772 0078

Fantastic small family run store but seems to have anything and everything you need to cook any Indian meals or snacks. All served with super customer service and always with a smile. Long way to go as I'm in Manchester and Jalaram is in Birmingham, but worth it!!

Tried and trusted grocery store specialising in Asian foods. Very friendly staff with the store very busy at times. Parking can be difficult to find on the side streets depending on what time of the day you go. Good prices and great quality goods.

Costa Coffee

62 New St, Birmingham B2 4DU, UK – 0121 643 4884

It was a nice Costa Coffee, but as of April 2018 it appears to have closed down with no notice (was still open late March 2018). But then it is close to another Costa on Stephenson Street / Navigation Street. Had nice friendly staff. O2 WiFi worked most of the time.

Helpful welcoming staff great coffee amazing cinnamon roll

Costa Coffee

Unit 41 Grand Central, Stephenson Pl, Birmingham B2 4BF, UK – 0121 643 2445

Nice location and spacious. Stay however weren't friendly or didn't seem approachable

So after checking two other costas me and my friend were unable to find a cheese and tomato toastie and finally after a long walk around new street we came to the grand central one. The service was quick and we had table service which is a added bonus and myself and my friend had a nice catch up for hours which was lovely. Will definitely visit again.

BigBarn has a totally brilliant map for West Midlands showing all the local food producers. So if you want to know where your food comes from look no further!
The Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Company was established 26 years ago when the Smith family returned from India, where for two generations we had been involved with tea. The website contains information about all the different teas and coffees supplied together with regular updates on new additions to the range.
