You can find excellent very well priced accommodation around Birmingham using Airbnb!

We run an Airbnb bed and breakfast down in Devon (house below) - and we have stayed in Airbnb accommodation all over the place. You can find the wonderful little gems with totally committed hosts and really frightful places which you put down to experience! You absolutely have to read the details of each listing - and read the reviews! We have had people coming to East Quither Farm expecting to take over our whole house -  or our kitchen etc simply because they have not read the description. Basically use Airbnb wherever we go - but we do do our homework!

Premier Inn Birmingham City Centre Waterloo St

6 Waterloo St, Birmingham B2 5PG, UK – 0871 527 8074

First time in Birmingham, found the hotel easily as it's very close to the train station. Checked in by girl named Danielle, she was very efficient and polite. When we told her that we were there for the concert but forgot which venue and didnt know where to go, she immediately started searching, informed us where and how to get there. Then the same day spoke to the night team 2 women (didn't get their names) they were very friendly and helpful too. I know Premier Inns around England quiet well but never seen such a friendly staff. Room was big, quiet and the bed was comfy.

Good hotel. Was surprised that a double room has two different sized beds (one queen and one twin or full) but it was fine! The restaurant attached has decent food and beer and I would stay here again.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
